Val and Rod

Val and Rod's was the first wedding from Saturday. My sister Pam actually helped me out because I decided to shoot two weddings on Saturday due to the fact that both couples are good friends of mine. I could not have pulled it off two weddings in the same day without Pam's help.

Chad and Rebecca

Chad and Rebecca tied the knot Saturday at Dow Gardens. I have known Chad since kindergarten and we were roommates at Cedarville University. I have only known Rebecca for a short time but they are incredible together, and we all had a blast on Saturday. I shot two weddings this day and this is the other one that Pam helped me shoot. She went to Rebecca's house and took the photos of the girls getting ready while I was at Val and Rod's ceremony. The Pam and I switched spots and she covered Val and Rod's reception while I was at Chad and Rebecca's ceremony. It was a beautiful day other than the humidity and a little downpour right after the mother's were seated. The rain only lasted a few minutes and we continued with the processional. I wish that my cameras were weather sealed because I was only able to grab a couple photos of the mayhem and then I needed to protect my gear from the rain.

The talent runs in the family because Pam did a wonderful job getting the girls during hair and makeup.
